About Peachy Cleans
Peachy Cleans is expanding our coverage from our Midsomer Norton base to Frome and Wells — and we need a reliable, hardworking self-employed cleaner to grow this area with us.
This is a new area for the business, so we'd love someone who is happy to be a key part of the local team. You'll be working closely with our office to build a regular client base, with Airbnb and domestic cleans across BA11, BA10 and the surrounding villages.
The Role
As a self-employed cleaner working with Peachy Cleans, you'll be allocated cleaning jobs based on your availability. Work can include:
- •Regular domestic cleans
- •Airbnb changeovers (Frome and Wells have strong short-let markets)
- •One-off and deep cleans
- •Holiday let changeovers
- •Oven cleaning
You'll work both independently and alongside other members of the Peachy Cleans team depending on the job.
Your Responsibilities
- •Complete cleaning jobs to a high standard and within the allocated time
- •Follow client notes, cleaning checklists and job instructions
- •Use the Jobber app to view your schedule and correctly timer each job
- •Treat clients' homes, belongings and keys with care and respect
- •Maintain excellent attention to detail
- •Communicate promptly if there are any problems or concerns while at a property
- •Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly
- •Keep cleaning kits and equipment clean, organised and ready for use
- •Be professional, friendly and respectful towards clients and other team members
- •Be punctual and reliable for all agreed work
- •Report any damage or breakages immediately
What We're Looking For
You don't necessarily need years of professional cleaning experience — we're looking for people with the right attitude and work ethic.
You should be:
- •Reliable and punctual
- •Hardworking with plenty of get-up-and-go
- •Able to use your own initiative
- •Confident working independently
- •Comfortable working as part of a team
- •Friendly and professional with clients
- •Physically able to carry out cleaning work
- •Someone with a genuine eye for detail
- •Able to follow instructions and checklists
- •Comfortable using a mobile phone/app for schedules and job timers
- •A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential due to travelling between clients.

Self-Employed Status
This is a self-employed role, not an employed position. You will be responsible for managing your own tax, National Insurance and other obligations associated with self-employment. Work is offered based on business requirements, client bookings and your agreed availability.
